S.H. Baker grew up in New Orleans, the city of romance and mystery. After a year of college, she dropped out and moved to Alaska where she enjoyed a taste of the Wild West pipeline days. Three years later, Sarah returned to the Lower 48 and earned a master's degree in engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. She has lived all over the country from Alaska to Georgia, but seems to have sprouted roots in New Mexico. She writes mystery as S. H. Baker and romance as Sarah Storme.
